"THIS MEMO PROVES EVERYTHING WE SPECULATE ABOUT SUBVERSIVE TACTICS AND CORRUPTION."
THE NUNES MEMO - A DAMNING PORTRAYAL OF CORRUPTION
PUBLISHED: 7th February, 2018 | By ROMAN GARZA
On January 29th, 2018, the House Intelligence Committee voted to release the document detailing surveillance abuses by the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) and the Department of Justice (DOJ). Leading to outrage from the political establishment, mainstream media and the intelligence community. The FBI made a statement January 31st, which essentially amounted to an attempt at damage control, claiming that they worked properly with the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISC). Attempting to paint the memo's release somehow as a misrepresentation. This should be seen as the FBI or those within the Bureau trying to cover the tracks they made in regards to Former FBI Director James Comeys stifling of the Clinton email scandal, and their misleading and cornering of Former National Security Advisor General Michael Flynn, causing him to be terminated from his position.
As you will see, this memo is a partial revealing of the kind of secret backdoor tactics the enemies of the American people have been engaged in, it goes as far back as the Obama administration.
On February 1st, House Intelligence Committee ranking member Adam Schiff attempted to stop the release of the memo claiming it was "not the same document" that committee members had been reviewing since mid-January. Yet since this statement, nobody in any ranking or trustworthy position has explained what exactly about the memo is false, misleading or missing. They are simply stating that it is untrue, without offering any explanation as to why. This vague uncertainty and doubt is the go-to response for those in positions of power when their lies are exposed. The memo contains information regarding the shady, and perhaps illegal operating practices used to acquire warrants to wiretap Trump administration advisors. Democrats like Nancy Pelosi and Adam Schiff attempting to cover up the situation and crying for the removal of Chairman David Nunes, who voted to release the memo.
Intelligence Committee Spokesman Jack Langer stated:
"In its increasingly strange attempt to thwart publication of the memo, the committee minority is now complaining about minor edits to the memo, including grammatical fixes and two edits requested by the FBI and the minority themselves. The vote to release the memo was absolutely procedurally sound and in accordance with House and committee rules. To suggest otherwise is a bizarre distraction from the abuses detailed in the memo, which the public will hopefully soon be able to read for themselves."
It's a shocking thing to witness those in government actually doing their jobs for the people they are supposed to serve. It's amusing that Spokesman Langer has recognized the left's screeching over the memo's publication. It's only a small piece, but it is a small piece which outlines many of their crimes. The memo provides an update on significant facts relating to the Committees ongoing investigation into the DOJ and FBI and their use of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) during the 2016 presidential election cycle. The findings published in the memo raise concerns with the legitimacy and legality of certain DOJ and FBI interactions with FISC, and represent a troubling breakdown of legal processes established to protect the American People from abuses related to the FISA process.
The Obama administration requested a warrant to wiretap then Presidential candidate Donald Trump, it was signed off by former Attorney General Loretta Lynch, but denied by the FISA Court. Then in September 2016, they returned to the FISA court with their request but this time around with a salacious and unverified dossier that attempted to tie then Candidate Trump to the Russian government. With their made-up nothing burger narrative, they were then able to trick the court and gain a warrant to wiretap Donald Trump. The memo revealed that the FISA court was not given a source for the dossier, and that the dossier itself was funded by the opposition; the Hillary Clinton campaign and the DNC (Democratic National Committee).
According to the memo:
"On October 21st, 2016, DOJ and FBI sought and received a FISA probable cause order authorizing electronic surveillance on Carter Page from the FISC. Page is a U.S. citizen who served as a volunteer advisor to the Trump presidential campaign.”
The Obama administration was in office at the time, and therefore it ran the heads of the DOJ and FBI. Why would they go after their own? This is because Carter Page was put forward by the Clinton campaign and DNC to volunteer for the Trump campaign. The basis for Page's wiretapping was proclaiming he was an agent of the Kremlin (Russian Government). Not in contact with an agent, but a full-blown Russian agent. This was the Clintons/DNC's way to get information about Donald Trump. Quite an elaborate scheme.
Just days before the memo's release on January 29th, FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe stepped down or was removed from his position, as members of the House Intelligence Committee debated whether to release a document detailing surveillance abuses by the FBI and DOJ. Despite no longer holding his position, McCabe is on terminal leave and is happily expectant of upwards of a $2 million pension. As a brand new political candidate, McCabe's wife received up to $675,000 in political donations from a Democrat PAC which was run by Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe. McAuliffe is a long-time close associate of Bill and Hillary Clinton and one-time chairman of the DNC. The connection is so troubling, members of the Congressional Oversight Committee previously asked McCabe to supply documents detailing his wife's financial dealings with her campaign.
On March 20th, 2017, then FBI Director James Comey provided sworn testimony before the House Permanent Selection Committee on Intelligence (HPSCI) regarding President Trump's "wiretapping" tweets:
"With respect to the President's tweets about alleged wiretapping directed at him by the prior administration, I have no information that supports those tweets and we have looked carefully inside the FBI. The Department of Justice has asked me to share with you that the answer is the same for the DOJ and all its components. The Department has no information that supports those tweets."
With the publication of the FISA memo we know that Comeys statement here is false. He among many others in the FBI and DOJ signed off on the request to wiretap Carter Page, and evidently, Donald Trump.
Due to Attorney General Jeff Sessions' recusal, afraid to appear as though he had a conflict of interests, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein was able to appoint special counsel Robert Mueller to investigate ties between the Trump campaign and Russia during the 2016 election. Of course, Rosenstein was another who signed off on the wiretapping back in 2016, so he too should have recused himself from hiring Robert Mueller to investigate, since in actuality, Rosenstein had a conflict of interest.
The memo states:
"Due to the sensitive nature of foreign intelligence activity, FISA submissions (including renewals) before the FISC are classified. As such, the public's confidence in the integrity of the FISA process depends on the court's ability to hold the government to the highest standard - particularly as it relates to the surveillance of American citizens."
It is important to note that FISC is held at a much higher standard than normal courts. It must be provided with very substantial, specific evidence that would go to prove whoever was a suspected agent of a foreign government, would actually be a threat, and that surveillance would lead to legitimate charges. To that effect, the FBI had to cook the books, lie, and the DNC had to plant their own informant (Carter Page) to be able to sign off and convince the court to go after the Trump campaign.
Interestingly enough, the memo points out that with the case of Carter Page, the government had at least four independent opportunities before the FISC to accurately provide an accounting of the relevant facts. However, the findings indicated that, as described below, material and relevant information was omitted.
The dossier compiled by Christopher Steele (Steele dossier) on behalf of the DNC and the Hillary Clinton campaign formed an essential part of the Carter Page FISA application. Steele was a longtime FBI source who was paid over $160,000 by the DNC and Clinton campaign, via the law firm Perkins Coie, and research firm Fusion GPS, to obtain incriminating information on Donald Trump's ties to Russia. Federal Election Commission disclosures reveal that the Clinton Campaign and the DNC paid the Perkins Coie law firm a total of $257,000 for legal services in April 2016 alone. While it is unclear what funds were later transferred to Fusion GPS, the financial transfers to Perkins Coie continued throughout the campaign totalling approximately $12 million for legal services. Interestingly, Obama For America (OFA) also paid over $972,000 to Perkins Coie since April 2016.
The memo goes on to state:
"Neither the initial application in October 2016, nor any of the renewals, disclose or reference the role of the DNC, Clinton campaign, or any party/campaign in funding Steele's efforts, even though the political origins of the Steele dossier were the known to senior DOJ and FBI officials. The initial FISA application notes Steele was working for a named U.S. person, but does not name Fusion GPS or principal Glenn Simpson, who was paid by a U.S. Law Firm (Perkins Coie) representing the DNC (even though it was known by DOJ at the time that political actors were involved with the Steele dossier)."
The memo confirms:
"The application does not mention Steele was ultimately working on behalf of - and paid by - the DNC and Clinton campaign, or that the FBI had separately authorized payment to Steele for the same information."
This memo proves everything we speculate about subversive tactics and corruption. This is the truth, it's out in the open now and everyone will soon be familiar with how shady and duplicitous the powers that be will act in order to foil any semblance of opposition and bolster their own power and agenda. The Trump administration is just one small integral part of how the liberty machine can gain momentum in the future. This is a modern day example of exposing communist tricks, and it will hopefully look to be successful moving forward.
